The new Signia Silk primax changes everything, combining two innovative technologies: Click Sleeves and the primax hearing platform. Signia Silk primax is a ready-to-wear, completely-in-canal hearing aid that provides wearers with immediate access to the sounds of their life.

A Ready-to-Wear, Custom Hearing Solution

Signia’s Click Sleeves are crafted from silicone and are available in six flexible options to fit most ear canals. Designed to provide ventilation and comfort, Click Sleeves simply “click” to attach to the electronic component of the Signia primax completely-in-canal hearing aid and are inserted deep in the ear canal where they are virtually invisible.

For first time users of hearing aids, or long-time wearers of hearing aids, for that matter, Signia Silk provides instant access to clear sounds, as well as ease and comfort. The color-coded design (red for the right ear and blue for the left ear) ensures a user-friendly experience. Click Sleeves eliminate the wait time found with traditional in-the-ear hearing aids and provides wearers immediate access to the benefits of hearing technology.

Signia Primax Platform

Signia Silk is built on the primax platform, available as a completely-in-canal model. Signia primax is the company’s most advanced technology to date, built upon the success and innovation of the Siemens binax, the first hearing aid to outperform normal hearing in challenging noise situations. Signia primax provides wearers with better than normal hearing in challenging listening environments as well as clinically-proven reduced listening effort throughout the day.

A 2015 study from University of Northern Colorado performed speech testing with participants wearing primax hearing aids. Results showed that two features, SpeechMaster and EchoShield, revealed a significant reduction in listening effort, providing a natural and easy listening experience for primax wearers.

SpeechMaster provides wearers with the flexibility to focus on the sounds they want to hear, while reducing background noise that would otherwise be distracting. Additionally, it eliminates challenges with speech recognition in the wearer’s listening experience, achieved by balancing three technologies: noise reduction, directionality, and steering amplification to focus on the dominant sounds the wearer wants to hear. Along with the SoundSmoothing feature, sharper, louder sounds are softened.

EchoShield protects sounds, eliminates reverberations, and reduces listening efforts in difficult acoustic spaces, such as atriums, hallways, lecture halls, and places of worship. Signia Silk primax hearing aids are equipped with this feature, to eliminate the annoying mix of degraded sound that wearers may experience in difficult spaces. With improved speech recognition and rich, true-to-life sound, primax wearers experience an effortless hearing experience.

Other Signia Silk Features and Accessories

Signia Silk is a wireless hearing aid, which means it connects to your smartphone and other electronic devices, allowing you to stream phone calls, music, and other media directly to your ears. Signia Silk primax is easily controlled with accessories such as the touchControl app and easyTek app through your smartphone, which allows you to make quick and convenient adjustments to features and volume.

For music lovers, Signia Silk primax is equipped with HD Music, which provides three settings to enhance music appreciation. HD Music enhances higher frequencies so that Silk primax wearers may experience a richer sound, in diverse listening settings. HD Music may be programmed to “Live Music,” for any concert, indoor or out; “Recorded Music” for listening in the home; and a specialized “Musician” setting for music lovers who also play music. Silk is also equipped with tinnitus therapy and is available for single-sided deafness. The easyTek TV Transmitter allows you to connect to your home entertainment systems to your Signia Silk hearing aids.
