Tammara Lynn Thompson, BC-HIS, HAS
Nationally Board Certified-Hearing Instrument Sciences, Multi-State, Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist
Tammara began her career in the Hearing industry in early 2011 after spending much of her adult life volunteering to work with the elderly in many community outreach programs. Coming from a large military family, she has always had a propensity for working with the elderly and feels very fortunate to be in a position to improve their lives through better hearing. She is compassionate and patient and believes in giving back to her community.
Tammara has attended Tallahassee Community College and has earned three professional licenses in the Hearing Healthcare Industry. She is currently licensed as a Hearing Aid Specialist in the states of Florida and Texas and is Nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. She is currently seeking her Oregon licensure.
Professional memberships or affiliations include the International Hearing Society, the National Board for Certification, Hearing Instrument Sciences and the Florida Society of Hearing Healthcare Professionals.
She is also a past member of Rotary International and the Chamber of Commerce and has donated her services to the Help America Hear Program and the Foundation for Sight and Sound. In 2018 she and a colleague completed a mission trip to the Caribbean Island of St. Maartin in the Netherlands to provide hearing care services to the less fortunate.
Tammara has two adult children and two grandchildren. She is single and has two miniature dachshunds. She loves animals and the outdoors and in her free time, she enjoys traveling, furniture refinishing, photography, outdoor water sports and cooking.
